Which data we process

Only what you fill in on the request form: the type of project, your budget range, the timing, your name, your email address, your company name if you give it, and your message. We also store the language you used, so we can reply in that language.

What for

We use your data to answer your request and, if you want, to make a proposal. You receive a confirmation by email and we receive your request in our mailbox. We do not use your data for newsletters or advertising.

How long

We keep your request for up to 6 months after we receive it. If it leads to an assignment, we keep what that assignment needs and what the law requires for our accounts.

Who helps us

Your data only goes to the services we use to host the site and to send and receive email. Some of them are US companies, so your data may also be processed outside the EU.

Cookies and storage in your browser

This site only sets functional cookies. On the page with the request form, these are a session cookie and a security cookie, needed to send the form securely. In addition, Cloudflare sets a cookie (__cf_bm) on every page to recognise automated traffic; it expires after half an hour. There are no analytics, no tracking and no advertising cookies.

In your own browser we store your choice to turn motion on or off, and whether you have already seen the opening animation. That information never leaves your device.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and object to its processing. Email hallo@alkascraft.nl for that. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
